Our Policies

At Mentone-Parkdale East Parish we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our parish. Our commitment is drawn from and inherent in the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the sanctity of each human person at the heart of the Gospel.

Our Child Safety Policy, Child Code of Conduct and associated policies and procedures have a specific focus on safeguarding children and young people at St Patrick’s and St John Vianney’s parish; against sexual, physical, psychological and emotional abuse or neglect.

If you see something that concerns you, please contact our Child Safety Officer at MentoneParkdaleEast@cam.org.au

Let's Work Together

'The effective protection of minors and a commitment to ensure their human and spiritual development, in keeping with the dignity of the human person, are integral parts of the Gospel message that the Church and all members of the faithful are called to spread throughout the world.' Pope Francis
